Manzanita School is one of Oakland Unified School District's 63 elementary schools in Oakland, California. At close to 750 K-5 students we are a rather large community. We strive to honor our academic growth and ethnic and linguistic diversity as pillars of our community values.

School Administration Seyana Mawusi is the Principal of Manzanita School. Her warm heart and keen mind are part of what makes her a dynamic energy that is taking us "to the top!" Diane Schneider is the Assistant Principal. Her calm thoroughness provides a steady base of support for the myriad activities at school.
